ALCONAAL03   (Extended)   The Ultimate Central Australian Adventure Tour
This 3 day tour is specially for the mid Northern Terriotry region, highlighting Alice Springs, Kings Creek and Yulara. Tour starts from Alice Springs.

DAY 1: Alice Springs to Yulara

After the hotel /accomodation pickup we depart Alice Springs, head south, and stop for a short visit at the Outback Camel Farm and then proceed to Yulara campsite.

The afternoon is spent exploring Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), before travelling to Uluru (Ayers Rock) to take in a spectacular sunset. After an exhilarating experience of the rock, we return to camp for a traditional Aussie meal, enjoy dinner, relax around the camp, under the huge, starry desert skies, meet fellow travellers, and make friends.

DAY 2: Yulara to Kings Creek
An early rise today brings you an exciting morning with breathtaking views of sunrise at Uluru (Ayers Rock), a World Heritage listed area. Join your knowledgeable guide for a base tour of Uluru, exploring ancient caves where Aboriginal paintings can be seen. A fascinating time learning about the oldest culture in the world. This afternoon, travel through red sand dunes & desert oak country to Kings Creek Cattle Station where optional activities are abundant. Tonight, try a traditional camp oven dinner, cooked in the coals of the fire.

DAY 3: Kings Creek to Alice Springs

This morning we visit breathtaking Kings Canyon. Theres no rush, as we hike around the canyon rim viewing sites like the Lost City and the Garden of Eden, as well as the striking North and South Walls. There are plenty of opportunities for photos. We return to Kings Creek Station for lunch before travelling through sand dune country as we head back to Alice Springs, arriving approximately 6.30 p.m.

DAY 1: Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Resort

Our journey begins as we head to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park home of Uluru (Ayers Rock). After meeting those passengers joining the tour at Ayers Rock Airport, we make tracks to the Cultural Centre, where we gain an insight into the enormous cultural significance of this World Heritage Listed Area. Next, onto the Sunset viewing area to enjoy some wine and nibbles as we witness the outback sun set on Uluru.

DAY 2: Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to King's Creek Station

An early morning start as we head to the base of Uluru (Ayers Rock), to experience the dawn, before we undertake a walking tour of the base of the Rock. Time is also available for those who choose to climb to the summit of Uluru, to undertake a scenic flight or take a Harley Davidson ride. Next up Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), before we head for King's Canyon. Tonight we set up camp at King's Creek Station, sleeping under the stars.

DAY 3: King's Canyon

Today we explore King's Canyon, a wonder of the Outback. Our walk along the rim above soaring sandstone cliffs takes us to the humble beginnings of King's Creek. Along the way we will see some unique and ancient vegetation and tranquil waterholes at the Garden of Eden and the Lost City. Then, back to King's Creek Station for a chance to go quad bike riding before a night spent swapping stories around the campfire.

DAY 4: King's Canyon to Alice Springs

A relaxing start to the day as we take breakfast in the morning sun. For those with a desire to experience some outback adventures, here is a great place to go on a quad bike ride or an outback camel trek. We then return to Alice Springs. Once back in "The Alice" we take time to visit Anzac Hill and The Royal Flying Doctor Base. A great way to finish your holiday to the Centre.

DAY 3: King's Creek to Glen Helen

Today we explore breathtaking King's Canyon. There is no rush as we hike around the canyon rim viewing sites like the Lost City and the Garden of Eden. After a picnic lunch, we head off on the famous Mereenie Loop Road towards the MacDonnell Ranges. Another great scenic campsite tonight - close to a beautiful freshwater swimming hole, at picturesque Glen Helen Gorge.

DAY 4: Glen Helen to Wallace Rockhole

An exciting day spent exploring many of the gorges & waterholes in this area. See Ormiston Gorge, Glen Helen Gorge, Ellery Creek, Standley Chasm and more! There are great walks to explore and in summer you can take a swim to cool off. Late afternoon, we end up at Wallace Rockhole Aboriginal Community, our overnight camp. Before dinner, visit the rockhole to view Aboriginal rock art and to learn about Aboriginal culture (seasonal).

DAY 5: Wallace Rockhole to Alice Springs

Real 4WD touring today as we drive through Finke Gorge National Park into Palm Valley. Dry riverbeds and uneven tracks make the journey an adventure in itself. The effort is well worth it when you see the parks rough red gorges and view ancient stands of palm trees and cycads. Well have a picnic and do some hiking here before returning to Alice Springs later in the day, arriving approx. 6.30pm.

DAY 1: Alice Springs to Banka Banka Station

We cross the Tropic of Capricorn soon after leaving Alice Springs and make for Ti Tree. Our afternoon highlight is a visit to the amazing rock formations known as the Devils Marbles. Then to Tennant Creek, a township that owes its prosperity to gold and copper deposits. Tonight we sleep under the stars!

DAY 2: Banka Banka to Katherine

Our first stop is at the Territory's most famous outback pub, Daly Waters. On to Larrimah and then Mataranka, an oasis for weary travellers. A short drive further north brings us to the town of Katherine, the third largest town in the Territory and situated on the banks of the Katherine River.

DAY 3: Katherine to Kakadu National Park

A short distance away is Nitmiluk National Park, land of the traditional Jawoyn Aboriginal people. Here we discover the impressive Katherine Gorge. Either a cruise into the gorge system or share a canoe and paddle along this tranquil waterway. We then head to Leliyn (Edith Falls). This is a great place for a midday swim. It's then on to Kakadu National Park. Our first stop will be at the rock-art site of Nourlangie before heading to the village of Jabiru.

DAY 4: Kakadu National Park

Kakadu National Park is World Heritage Listed and has enormous cultural and natural significance. There is plenty of time today to partake in some special optional activities that will enhance your experience here. A visit to the Bowali Visitors Centre can give a better understanding and help us appreciate the unique qualities of this diverse Park as well.

DAY 5: Kakadu to Darwin

An early morning wildlife cruise on Yellow Water Billabong is an amazing start to our day. Our journey from here takes us to another beautiful site that of Ubirr and a visit here is next on our agenda. The outlook from here over the surrounding Kakadu wetlands is simply stunning. Next stop Darwin - capital of Australias Northern Territory and a modern, tropical city set on a harbour twice the size of Sydneys.

DAY 6: Litchfield National Park

To Litchfield National Park just south of Darwin where waterfalls cascade from the sandstone plateau of Tabletop Range and create beautiful pools and pockets of rainforests. Highlights of our visit to the Park include the giant termite mounds, Florence and Wangi Falls and refreshing swims in their natural pool. We then return to Darwin to farewell our Outback companions!

We travel south on our way to Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park, home of mighty Uluru (Ayers Rock). DAY 2: Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to King's Canyon

It's an early start to the day this morning to enjoy sunrise inside the National Park. A chance to explore Uluru and its many wonders. From here our journey takes us to Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). We then head off for King's Canyon. Before commencing our exploration of the park, settle into King's Creek Station - an operating cattle/camel station. This is a truly Aussie experience where you have the option to sleep under a blanket of stars in your Aussie Swag (bed roll) or pitch your own tent for a little more shelter.

DAY 3: King's Canyon

We walk the track that takes us above massive sandstone cliffs overlooking the valley floor. Along the walk we can see some unique and ancient vegetation, tranquil water holes and some amazing examples of nature's own geological handiwork. We return via the other side of the Canyon.

DAY 4: King's Creek Station to Alice Springs

The chance exists early this morning for a breath taking hot air balloon ride. Then we venture out amongst the Western MacDonnell Ranges. We return to Alice Springs with time to grab some lunch and explore the town centre.

This morning it's an early start as we make our way north through the Swan Valley on our way to Nambung National Park, home of the famous "Pinnacles". A definite Kodak moment! With the Indian Ocean to the west, we head to Kalbarri where we'll be staying on a farming station situated on the Murchison River. Here you'll find plenty of native wildlife, a run of over 40 horses and plenty of wide open spaces to enjoy. Tonight we head to Finlays in Kalbarri - an absolute must when in the area! The unusual setting in an old ice works where at times, includes occasional fireside ballads.

This morning we travel to Kalbarri National Park, arguably one of the best National Parks in Australia. The park covers 186,096 hectares and offers some of the most spectacular scenery in Western Australia. Make sure you've got your walking shoes on today as we'll be getting out and about to get the best out of this area. After a late lunch free time at the Ranch to explore or maybe try your hand at optional horse riding*. Tonight after dinner enjoy star-gazing around the campfire.

Today we have more time to explore Kalbarri National Park before travelling further north to Shark Bay and Monkey Mia, home of the wild dolphins. Tonight we'll join an aboriginal cultural walking tour to discover the magnificent sights of Gathaagudu (Shark Bay) through Aboriginal eyes.

DAY 5: Monkey Mia to Coral Bay

Relax, enjoy the surroundings and wait for Monkey Mia's famous visitors to arrive. Every day a number of dolphins swim into the clear shallows of the bay to interact with humans. Our afternoon drive takes us via the township of Carnarvon to Coral Bay. This is the perfect destination for anyone seeking relaxation, adventure or simply something different. Well known for its marine life, Coral Bay is a great place to see whale sharks, humpback whales, dugongs, manta rays, turtles and an abundance of fish species (seasonal). Today is a leisurely day to enjoy the wonders of Ningaloo Reef Marine Park. This is not only Western Australias largest fringing coral reef, but one of the largest reefs worldwide that can be reached just by stepping off the beach. Awesome!!! Swim and snorkel in the crystal clear waters, do a once-in-a-lifetime manta ray swim* or get up close and personal with the largest fish in the ocean, the Whale Shark*! Everything is BIG in WA!!!!!!

Enjoy the colourful coral formations from a scenic submersible craft this morning - a great way to start the day! We then head away from the coast, where we'll break for refreshment stops at Nanutarra Roadhouse and Paraburdoo before reaching the rugged, but beautiful Karijini National Park. Haunting in its rugged, red beauty and unbeatable for adventure, the park is famous for its sheer gorges, waterfalls and cool swimming holes. Our campsite here, deep in the Aussie Outback is special.

DAY 9: Karijini to 80 Mile Beach

Onto Port Hedland, a town whose prosperity has been built on the iron-ore boom of the 1960's. Here, iron-ore from some of the world's largest iron-ore mines is loaded onto the world's biggest ore carriers for international consumption. Port Hedland is renowned for its Indigenous culture and history, long trains, big ships, salt piles and red dust. Our camp tonight is on the sweeping shores of 80 Mile Beach with views of the Indian Ocean. .

Back on the Great Northern Highway to cosmopolitan Broome. From its rough and tumble, romantic pearling history to the cosmopolitan character of Chinatown....the colours and moods of Broome will blow you away. You'll have the opportunity to visit the historic Japanese Cemetery, Gantheaume Point, nearby pearling houses and experience world famous Cable Beach at sunset. Tonight you're free to explore this multi-cultural town at your own pace.

After an early departure from your hotel, we head towards Kakadu National Park. Our first adventure is a crocodile spotting cruise. Next we stop for a visit at the Bark Hut Inn before continuing on into Kakadu. First we visit the fascinating Bowali Centre, Kakadu National Park Headquarters before heading to Ubirr Rock where we see classic examples of Aboriginal rock art and spectacular 360 degree views. DAY 3: Kakadu

This morning we visit Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre for an insight into the culture, beliefs and customs of the aboriginal people and then head to Nourlangie Rock for spectacular scenery and to view examples of rock art. After lunch by Anbangbang Billabong we take the Murdudjurl Cultural Tour before returning to our camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: Kakadu to Katherine

After breakfast we visit Gubara or Gunlom Falls depending on the season and accessibility. Both locations offer an opportunity to swim in cool clear water, walk and explore spectacular sandstone country. After lunch travel south out of the park into the historic mining area of Pine Creek. On the way we stop in at Edith Falls for a refreshing swim. We finish the day by travelling to our campsite at the historic Springvale Homestead.

DAY 5: Katherine to Litchfield National Park

After an early start we travel to the majestic Katherine Gorge for a choice of a two hour cruise or a canoeing adventure. The waters are clear, cool and safe for swimming. After lunch we travel back up towards Darwin and continue on to our campsite on the outskirts of Litchfield.

DAY 6: Litchfield to Darwin

After breakfast, we depart for Litchfield Park. Litchfield is famous for its scenic beauty, waterfalls and safe swimming. We visit Florence Falls, Wangi Falls and Buley Rockholes and walk through beautiful rainforests. On the way back to Darwin, we visit the township of Batchelor and return to Darwin for the evening. Tonight is yours free to enjoy. If the Mindil Markets are operating tonight its the perfect spot to meet the locals and catch a spectacular NT sunset.

Today you can explore at your own pace. Why not head to the Territory Wildlife Park to learn more about Australian Native animals or if you're feeling energetic head out on the historical city walk - a leisurely discovery of Darwin city, through 17 historically significant sites and buildings within walking distance of the CBD. Included is the British Australian Telegraph house (Lyons Cottage), the Wharf Precinct, Myilly Point Historical Precinct and the new Parliament House. We can provide you with a detailed itinerary and map. Our trip concludes here and you may depart at any time on this day.

DAY 1: Darwin to Kakadu

We make tracks from Darwin early this morning in our air conditioned Toyota Landcruiser GXL four wheel drive vehicle to travel to Kakadu National Park. Entering the Park we visit the spectacular scenery and Aboriginal rock art of Nourlangie Rock. After a picnic lunch, we cruise the spectacular Yellow Waters, home to a wide variety of bird life and possibly the lurking Saltwater Crocodile. We set up camp for the evening, having dinner around the camp, under the stars.

DAY 2: Kakadu

After an early breakfast, we depart on our big day out to Twin Falls and Jim Jim Falls. These falls are in a remote area of the Park only accessible by four wheel drive vehicle, some 70 kilometres off the sealed road via a dirt track. Its an area of incredible natural beauty, however the waterfalls are rainwater fed, so after several months without rain (around August and September) its possible they may not be flowing. The rock pools and surrounds are still magnificent and well worth the journey. Twin Falls is only accessible by water (there is no land track) so we take a short boat ride through the gorge to the beach at the base of the falls. After a picnic lunch on the banks of the river, we take the hike (approximately 1 km) through the rainforest to Jim Jim Falls and its crystal clear waters. We return to the camp for dinner and a well earned rest.

DAY 3: Kakadu to Darwin

We leave this camp after breakfast and travel to the crystal clear rock pool and scenic beauty of Barramundi Gorge. We then visit the colourful rock art and spectacular scenery of Ubirr Rock. This is a fascinating site with spectacular views over Kakadu. We then take the Arnhem Highway back to Darwin, arriving at approximately 6.30pm.

After pick up from your accommodation you will meet your Billy Can guide and head towards Kakadu National Park. Our first adventure is a crocodile spotting cruise. We visit the eclectic Bark Hut Inn and continue on into the heart of Kakadu. We cross the South Alligator River before heading to Ubirr Rock where we see classic examples of Aboriginal rock art and spectacular 360 degree views. At the end of the day we travel to our campsite in Kakadu. During the evening we enjoy a hearty dinner at our camp.

DAY 2: Kakadu

After breakfast we visit Barramundi Gorge in the dry season and Baraolba Springs or Gunlom Falls when Barramundi Gorge is inaccessible. Both locations offer an opportunity to swim in cool clear water, walk and explore spectacular sandstone country. After lunch we visit the Aboriginal art galleries of Nourlangie Rock and the fascinating Bowali Centre, Kakadu National Park HQ. DAY 3: Kakadu to Litchfield

This morning after breakfast we depart for Litchfield Park. Litchfield is famous for its scenic beauty, waterfalls and safe swinning. We visit Florence Falls, Wangi Falls and Buley Rockholes and walk through beautiful rainforests. We visit the township of Batchelor on the way back to Darwin where our tour sadly comes to an end.

Day 1 Tuesday - Perth to Pemberton
We depart Perth & travel south through the coastal cities of Mandurah, the city of canals and Bunbury, stopping for morning tea on the Koombana Bay foreshore. Then we travel to Busselton to view the famous wooden Busselton Jetty, which is over 2 kilometers long. The stop for lunch (your expense) is in Dunsborough and then to the wine growing area of Margaret River with visits to wineries. After wine tasting and perhaps a purchase or two, we may pay a short visit to the Augusta Township. We then continue to travel south to Cape Leeuwin, the most southwestern point of Australia. Day 2 Wednesday - Pemberton, Diamond Tree, Treetop Walk, Albany
We leave at 7.30am and travel the short distance to the Diamond Tree Fire Lookout point. Then we travel to Walpole for our stop at the Treetop Walk in the Valley of the Giants. Where you can enjoy the magnificent view from the top of the tall tingle trees. We continue traveling east through the town of Denmark and on to reach the historic port town of Albany for lunch (your expense). Whale watching in season (optional and extra cost applies). After lunch those not cruising will visit the coastal cliff area to view The Gap and Natural Bridge, with an afternoon tea stop at Mt Romance Perfume Factory. If time permits we may take a stroll in the main street to shop for souvenirs. Then to the Ace Motor Inn for the nights stay. (Breakfast & Dinner) Accommodation Motel with ensuite.

Day 3 Thursday - Albany to Esperance
7.30am start this morning as we travel to the Stirling Ranges for sightseeing at the base of Bluff Knoll. After a brief stop for morning tea at Pingrup, we travel on to Hyden for lunch (your expense). After lunch, and a leisurely stroll to see Wave Rock the huge granite formation, millions of years old, we head south and visit the old mining town of Ravensthorpe before driving east again to our stop over for the next 2 nights in the beautiful port town of Esperance, on the Bay of Isles. (Breakfast & Dinner) Accommodation Motel with ensuite.

Day 4 Friday - Esperance all day
8.30am start to the day as we board the beautiful Sea breeze for our morning cruise of the Bay of Isles off Esperance, with morning tea on Woody Island. You may see Dolphins, Sea Lions, Sea Birds and in season, even Whales. We return from the cruise at about lunchtime and you are free to enjoy lunch (your expense) in the towns shopping area. After lunch we board our coach once more and drive east to the beautiful Cape Le Grand National Park with its spectacular beaches, granite rock outcrops and the coastline. Enjoy afternoon tea on the beach. We return to the Bay of Isles Motor Inn in the late afternoon. (Breakfast & Dinner) Accommodation Motel with ensuite.

Day 5 Saturday - Esperance to Kalgoorlie
7.30am start this morning as we travel to the old gold mining towns of Norseman, Widgiemooltha and Kambalda and then to the most famous of them all, Kalgoorlie. Lunch (your expense) is in Kalgoorlie's famous Hannan Street. The afternoon is spent visiting the new Miners Hall of Fame and the North Kalgoorlie Tourist Mine. We will also drive out to the Super Pit, one of the largest holes on earth made by man, also visible form outer space. In the late afternoon we will book into the Mercure Hotel Plaza for the night. After dinner we will do a night tour of certain parts of the town, which are of interest. (Breakfast & Dinner) Accommodation Motel with ensuite.

Day 6 Sunday - Kalgoorlie to Perth
Today we drive back to Perth via the old mining town of Coolgardie and the huge wheat belt farm areas traveling through historic towns like Southern Cross, Merredin & Northam, & traveling through large fruit orchards, arriving back in Perth, in the early afternoon for the conclusion of your unique holiday.

A short drive this morning to Queensland's capital city, Brisbane where we have some time for sightseeing. Heading further north we travel on to Hervey Bay. Here we board our ferry to Fraser Island and our Wilderness Lodge accommodation.

Fraser Island - Great Sandy National Park is World Heritage Listed and is the world's largest sand island. DAYS 6-8: Capricorn Caves to Whitsundays

Reuniting with the Bruce Highway, we make the journey to Airlie Beach, the heart of the thriving Whitsunday coast. We transfer from nearby Shute Harbour to Long Island and Club Crocodile Resort, one of the many beautiful islands that make up this very special waterway and our home for the next three nights. DAY 9: Whitsundays to Cairns

Our transfer takes us to Shute Harbour. Here our coach awaits for our journey to Townsville. Here we break for some lunch and a quick stroll to the Strand to take in the view. We then travel on to the colourful city of Cairns, where we check in to our resort and enjoy some dinner.

An interesting tour highlighting the famous northern outback from Perth including the Pinnacles, Denham, Warroora, Coral Bay, Exmouth, Karijini & Broome.

Day 1(H): We depart Perth and head North through market gardens and vineyards to Nambung National Park and the fascinating Pinnacles Desert. After exploring these unique formations we continue our journey northwards along coastal roads to Geraldton. Then after a short break we head out to some local sand dunes for an adrenalin rush sand boarding down these huge slopes. From here we continue on to Kalbarri and our overnight accommodation. Day 2 (H): After an early rise we have a short drive to Murchison Gorge in Kalbarri National Park. Here we take time to view Natures Window, the Loop and discover the wonders of the Z-Bend Gorge. At Z-Bend Gorge it is an exhilarating 150 metre descent into the heart of the gorge - well worth the effort - where there is time to explore and swim in the tranquil fresh water pools. For the adventurous there is even an opportunity to try your hand at abseiling (optional activity at additional cost). This afternoon it's time to make our way toward Monkey Mia, stopping at the beautiful Shell Beach and then onto Denham for our overnight stop. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)

Day 3(SS): After a short drive across the Peron Peninsula we make our way down to the beach and the world famous Monkey Mia dolphins - its a unique experience and there are some fantastic photo opportunities. Almost as famous as the dolphins are Monkey Mia's pelicans. Check them out during the dolphin feeding. Soon it is time to leave and head towards Carnarvon, however before we leave the Shark Bay area we stop at the fascinating stromatolites at Hamlin Pool. A take a well earned break at Carnarvon before we finish the day by driving off the highway and out to Warroora sheep station. Tonight we enjoy dinner around an open fire before heading of to bed in the shearers quarters. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Day 4 (H): Today is yours to explore Coral Bay and the wonders of the Ningaloo Reef and its fantastic marine life. You can go snorkeling, cruise on the glass bottom boat, take a quad bike tour or even a joy flight over the reef (all optional extras). Today is a day to relax. Late afternoon and its time for the short drive into Exmouth. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Day 5 (H): A full day to explore Exmouth. After breakfast it's time to jump on the bus and head out to Yardie Creek in the Cape Range National Park. Then we start our slow return to Exmouth. Have a swim or sunbathe at beautiful Turquoise Bay and discover this northern part of Ningaloo Reef, Enjoy spectacular views from historic Vlahming Head Lighthouse, stroll along pristine beaches. We return to our hostel late afternoon. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 6 (BC): We head inland today towards the oasis that is Karijini. We will take on extra provisions in the iron ore mining town of Tom Price this afternoon before setting up our camp overlooking the magnificent Hamersley Range in time for a spectacular sunset. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Day 7 & 8 (C): You will see why we have allowed the next two days to explore and bask in the magnificence of this National Park area and it's Gorges. The Hamersly Ranges were formed over 2,500 million years ago and are some of the most unusual landforms on earth. From cascading waterfalls found deep in the gorges to fresh still pools ideal for swimming, we experience it all. Some of the gorges are so narrow that you can touch both sides at once. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Day 9 (BC): On the road again as we now head into the more remote areas, passing through the town of Marble Bar which has the reputation of being the hottest place in Australia. It's nice to have the comfort of air-conditioning in as we wind our way along these outback tracks. Setting up camp among the White-Gum trees in the Billabongs along the banks of the De Grey should leave you with lasting memories of the true outback of Australia. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Day 10 : After loading our vehicle we head back into civilization and the old Pearling town of Broome, making a short stop at Eighty Mile Beach and then onto Sandfire Flats. We will arrive in Broome mid afternoon after ten days and 3000 Kilometers of enjoyable adventure. (Breakfast, Lunch)

This afternoon we will take a short break in the iron ore mining town of Tom Price before setting up our camp overlooking the magnificent Hammersley Range in time for a spectacular sunset. (B.L.D.)

Day 7 and Day 8 (C): We have a full two days to explore and bask in the magnificence of this National Park area and it's Gorges - amongst the most rugged and beautiful areas of Australia . The Hammersley Ranges were formed over 2,500 million years ago and are some of the most unusual landforms on earth. From cascading waterfalls found deep in the gorges to fresh still pools ideal for swimming, we experience it all. Some of the gorges are so narrow that you can touch both sides at once. (B.L.D.)

Day 9 (BC): On the road again as we now head into the more remote areas, passing through the town of Marble Bar which has the reputation of being the hottest place in Australia. It's nice to have the comfort of air-conditioning in as we wind our way along these outback roads. Setting up camp among the White-Gum trees in the Billabongs along the banks of the De Grey should leave you with lasting memories of the true outback of Australia. (B.L.D.)

Day 10 : After loading our vehicle we head back into civilization and towards the old Pearling town of Broome which is, today, a tourist Mecca. We make a short stop at the pristine Eighty Mile Beach and then onto Sandfire Flats before arriving in Broome mid afternoon. (B.L.)

Day 11: Time to spend two days at leisure in Broome. There is time to laze away on Cable Beach, visit the famous Crocodile Park, pearl farm or even Cape Levique. We provide your accommodation and breakfast, the rest of the day and night is left to you to to plan and enjoy at your own pace. You can be as busy or as relaxed as you like. (B.)

An interesting tour highlighting the famous northern outback from Perth including the Pinnacles, Denham, Warroora, Coral Bay, Exmouth, Karijini & Broome.

Day 1(H): We depart Perth and head North through market gardens and vineyards to Nambung National Park and the fascinating Pinnacles Desert. After exploring these unique formations we continue our journey northwards along coastal roads to Geraldton. Then after a short break we head out to some local sand dunes for an adrenalin rush sand boarding down these huge slopes. From here we continue on to Kalbarri and our overnight accommodation. Day 2 (H): After an early rise we have a short drive to Murchison Gorge in Kalbarri National Park. Here we take time to view Natures Window, the Loop and discover the wonders of the Z-Bend Gorge. At Z-Bend Gorge it is an exhilarating 150 metre descent into the heart of the gorge - well worth the effort - where there is time to explore and swim in the tranquil fresh water pools. For the adventurous there is even an opportunity to try your hand at abseiling (optional activity at additional cost). This afternoon it's time to make our way toward Monkey Mia, stopping at the beautiful Shell Beach and then onto Denham for our overnight stop. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)

Day 3(SS): After a short drive across the Peron Peninsula we make our way down to the beach and the world famous Monkey Mia dolphins - its a unique experience and there are some fantastic photo opportunities. Almost as famous as the dolphins are Monkey Mia's pelicans. Check them out during the dolphin feeding. Soon it is time to leave and head towards Carnarvon, however before we leave the Shark Bay area we stop at the fascinating stromatolites at Hamelin Pool. A take a well earned break at Carnarvon before we finish the day by driving off the highway and out to Warroora sheep station. Tonight we enjoy dinner around an open fire before heading of to bed in the shearers quarters. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Day 4 (H): Today is yours to explore Coral Bay and the wonders of the Ningaloo Reef and its fantastic marine life. You can go snorkeling, cruise on the glass bottom boat, take a quad bike tour or even a joy flight over the reef (all optional extras). Today is a day to relax. Late afternoon and its time for the short drive into Exmouth. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Day 5 (H): A full day to explore Exmouth. After breakfast it's time to jump on the bus and head out to Yardie Creek in the Cape Range National Park. Then we start our slow return to Exmouth. Have a swim or sunbathe at beautiful Turquoise Bay and discover this northern part of Ningaloo Reef, Enjoy spectacular views from historic Vlahming Head Lighthouse, stroll along pristine beaches. We return to our hostel late afternoon. (Breakfast, Lunch)

This morning we visit the dolphins of Monkey Mia, one of only a few places in the world, where the amazing dolphins from the "wild" come to meet people. The morning is spent interacting with these amazing creatures (dolphin appearance not guaranteed). Enjoy the opportunity to go sailing in the bay. We bid the dolphins farewell as we travel to Hamelin Pool and the beautiful stromatolities before continuing north to Carnarvon for a short break. Then traveling to the Warroora Sheep station. Which is situated on a 50km secluded stretch of the Ningaloo Reef. This evening enjoy "camp oven cooking" by the campfire. Try our damper! Overnight Warroora Station. (B/L/D)

This morning we leave Warroora taking in some of the sights of the outback track, often sighting native kangaroos, emus and other wildlife. We arrive at our destination Coral Bay, the point at which Ningaloo Reef is closest to the shore, making it one of the most accessible Coral Reefs in the world. There are over 450 species of fish and 250 species of coral as well as manta rays, dugong and dolphins inhabiting these sheltered waters. It is a must to snorkel, or take a glass bottom boat tour to enjoy this marine paradise. Mid afternoon we travel north past Cape Range National Park to the northern end of Ningaloo and the town of Exmouth. Overnight in Exmouth. (B/L)

Here you can also have the chance of a boat cruise (optional at own cost) to view more of the magnificent creatures of the sea. We then make our way down the coast to view Eagle Bluff and the Stromatalites before heading to our Farm stay at Northampton. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Day 4: Northampton to Perth. Day 2: Albany to Pemberton: This morning we head off to Frenchmans Bay - home of the famous Blow holes, the Natural Bridge and The Gap. After a morning of discovery we travel to Denmark for a short break, and then on to striking Greens Pool, a natural water feature, for a swim or sun bake. A scenic drive takes us to the Valley of the Giants. Here you will have the opportunity to walk up to the top of the trees on the amazingly engineered Tree Top Walk. From the Tree Top walk you will enjoy spectacular views of the dense Tingle Tree Canopy. We then travel on through the national parks & huge forest ranges, to Walpole and Pemberton towns to climb the famous Gloucester tree or to simply view some of the local arts and crafts before we book into our accommodation for the night. DAY 17: Ayers Rock Resort to Kings Canyon

We spend the morning at Uluru before we join the road again, this time bound for Watarrka National Park and Kings Canyon, a wonder of the Outback. We will settle into our campsite at Kings Creek Station, enjoy some lunch and then prepare for our walk.

DAY 18: Kings Canyon

We walk the track that takes us above massive sandstone cliffs overlooking the valley floor. Along the walk we can see some unique and ancient vegetation, tranquil water holes and some amazing examples of nature's own geological handiwork. We return via the other side of the Canyon.

DAY 19: Kings Creek to Alice Springs

Our journey today see us returning to Alice Springs. We take time to check out Anzac Hill followed by a visit to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

DAY 4: Whitsundays to Cairns

Our transfer takes us to Shute Harbour. Here our coach awaits for our journey to Townsville. Here we break for some lunch and a quick stroll to the Strand to take in the view. We then travel on to the colorful city of Cairns, where we check in to our resort and enjoy some dinner.

DAY 5: Cairns

Cairns is the perfect hub for numerous adventure and nature based activities. Try an optional trip the Great Barrier Reef today aboard a maxi-catamaran, or go crazy with other optional adventures. Later tonight a highlight is our exclusive Tjapukai by Night experience.

DAY 6: Cairns

Today we visit Kuranda via the Skyrail Rainforest Cable way. Gliding just meters above the rain forest in gondola cabins, the Skyrail journey immerses you in an intimate rain forest experience. Explore the local arts and crafts of Kuranda village, then return to Cairns where we will bid our traveling companions farewell.
